In its fifth year, the awards ceremony was once again held under the patronage of the Greek government and under the direction of Dimitrios Goris and Vassiliki Papageorgopoulou, President and Vice President of Who is Who International Awards respectively.
The alumni of the Who is Who International Awards are outstanding personalities selected from various fields of global activities, whose common denominator is a great social impact.
Among this year's awardees, L'ÉPOQUE recognizes the success of Dr. Yan Lijin, an undisputed Chinese leader who has made a great contribution to the development of the 'New Silk Roads' and the strengthening of international cooperation.
It is no secret that Prince Nereides Antonio Giamundo de Bourbon himself is an advocate of economic and political relations with China and has initiated several projects since 2007 and to date. Just recently, on April 30, 2024, the Nereides de Bourbon Group, the China Silk Road Group and the Shandong Radio and Station signed a trilateral agreement to develop several European-Chinese projects for the benefit of the newly emerged and strengthened international cooperation.
It is therefore no coincidence that Prince Nereides nominated Dr. Yan Lijin for the Who is Who International Award 2024, with whom he shares a professional and personal friendship.
The award ceremony, which took place on 18 September in Alimos, Greece, was preceded by an exclusive pre-event organized by Prince Nereides de Bourbon and Lello Ammirati, the two owners of L'ÉPOQUE magazine, at a private villa in the hills of Saronida on the Athens coast, where Dr. Yan Lijin was one of the guests of honor.
The next evening, the Who is Who International Awards ceremony held on the red carpet at Ble Pavilion & Ble Azure in Alimos, attended by personalities from all over the world. During the evening, Dr. Yan Lijin was honored with the prestigious Who is Who International Award in the category “World Eminent Man in Strategy & Global Economy”. Dr. Yan Lijin accepted the award, a statuette created by artist Stathis Alexopoulos, from Prince Nereides de Bourbon.
In his warm speech before the award ceremony, Prince Nereides also acknowledged another achievement of Dr. Yan Lijin: the presentation of his new book "Value-based Civilization - Digital Revolution and the Future of the World". The book in English, published and distributed by the Nereides de Bourbon Group, was then officially launched at the Who is Who International Awards 2024 Gala. The book, which is now available in both English and Chinese on over 55 platforms worldwide, including Amazon, is an in-depth examination of the process of human evolution with a particular focus on the impact of new technologies on civilization.
